Ababol TP is a sealer which gives to the surfaces where is applied a transparent, flexible and strong film. This film is adhered to the substrate, sealing potential sticking points.<\/p>\n

To eliminate potential sticking points as micro porosity and other surface irregularities increases safety margin against possible adhesions, making a more safe and effective mould release action.<\/p>\n

It is compatible with water-based release agents, increasing its efficiency and providing a bigger margin of safety to the process of de-moulding. Ababol TP allows an increase in the moulds life.<\/p>\n

This sealer may be used in all processes and different mould surfaces. Highly recommended for metal moulds.<\/p>\n

      • First you must thoroughly clean the mould surface. You can use Ababol C, C+<\/sup> or Cd. The cleaner the mould surface, the better the sealing of the mould will be, therefore the mould will be productive for longer.<\/li>\n
      • Choose a small area of the mould, around 1m2<\/sup>. Apply Ababol TP with a piece of paper or towel and immediately start wiping over this area until it is well distributed. In the case of quick evaporation some marks may appear in the mould, apply more ABABOL TP and wipe off immediately.<\/li>\n
      • Repeat step 2 until the whole mould surface is covered.<\/li>\n
      • Wait at least 15 minutes until the curing of the coat that has been applied. After that time the mould is ready for applying more coats if necessary or you can begin applying the mould release agent.<\/li>\n
      • The number of coats will depend on two factors:
        \na)\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The condition of the mould:
        \n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0For new or repaired moulds at least 4 coats.
        \n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0For used moulds, 1 coat.
        \nb)\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Nature of the mould, new or repaired mould:
        \n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Polyester: 3 coats.
        \n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Epoxy: 6 coats.
        \n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Metal: 2 coats.
        \n–\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Glass: 3 coats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
